You can't buy a PS5 anywhere, but look at what hit Walmart

The PS5 launch is just a few weeks away, and to make the wait even more agonizing, you may be able to find a dual-sense controller at your local Walmart.

Twitter user Destruct spotted a PS5 gamepad at Walmart and posted photographic evidence. Until Sony's new console actually launches, this is probably the closest the average gamer will get to a PS5.

The image shows DualSense, or at least its packaging, sitting haphazardly on a low, locked shelf among third-party PS4 accessories. Given that many PS5 users want a second controller for local multiplayer games, it is unlikely to sit there for long.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X will launch next month on November 19 and November 10, respectively. With less than four weeks to go before the launch, it is not surprising that major retailers are grabbing PS5 peripherals. It may be odd, though, that Walmart is still displaying the controller even though it hasn't launched yet.

Sony has outdone itself with its new dual-sense controller design. It adds to the DualShock controller we know and love by adding detailed tactile feedback to the triggers, a built-in microphone for multiplayer chat, and a new Create button for converting game clips and screenshots into shareable content .
