The OnePlus Nord N10 5G and N100 specs have been completely leaked — here's what you get

Information on the purported specs of OnePlus' next two budget smartphones, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and the Nord N100, has been leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known as @OnLeaks.

Hemmerstoffer posted the most pertinent specs of the devices on social media site Voice: OnePlus Nord N10 5G has a 6.49" Full HD panel with 90Hz refresh rate (panel technology unknown), Snapdragon 690 system-on-chip, 6GB of memory, 128GB of storage, and a 4,300mAh battery pack, reportedly.

The N10 5G's rear camera will consist of four lenses and may be packaged with a 64MP primary optic with an 8MP ultra-wide and two 2MP sensors, although Hemmerstoffer has not revealed what these sensors will be used for, Given OnePlus' recent releases, it is reasonable to expect that they will be used for macro and depth sensing purposes.

Thus, the Nord N10 5G would join the OnePlus lineup under the OnePlus Nord and above the OnePlus Nord N100, which was released outside North America earlier this year.

The Nord N10 5G is, as the name suggests, a 5G handset, whereas the Nord N100 is, by all appearances, LTE-only. The handset is believed to be powered by a Snapdragon 460 chipset, combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The screen is imperceptibly larger than the Nord N10 5G's, at 6.52 inches from corner to corner, but is said to be made with LCD technology (rather than OLED) and will feature HD resolution. High refresh rate capabilities are not mentioned, and the battery is rumored to be 5,000 mAh.

As for the Nord N100's camera, Hemmerstoffer again suggests that it will have a triple lens stack, combining a 13MP primary shooter and 2MP dual optics, this time stated to be used for macro and bokeh purposes

Hemmerstoffer says that both of these phones will be revealed on October 26, which is of course just around the corner. Neither appears to be a successor to the original Nord at all, which is more powerful and has more in common with OnePlus flagship handsets like the recently released 8T.

No word yet on pricing, but both the Nord N10 5G and N100 should allow OnePlus to move further into the mid-range and low-end of the mobile business OnePlus is not interested in expanding existing Nord sales west of the Atlantic. Hopefully, these will also introduce Nord to the North American market, since it does not seem to be interested in expanding its existing Nord sales west of the Atlantic.
