Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus Leak just revealed the specifications and design

Samsung's 2020 flagship models may have all been announced, but it's never too early to start thinking about next year. And now, rendered images of Samsung's third Galaxy S21 model have appeared, giving us a glimpse of what the Galaxy S21 Plus will look like.

Rumors suggest that Samsung will follow in the footsteps of the Galaxy S20 and release three models: a standard version, Plus, and Ultra. We have already seen a rendered image of the Galaxy S21 and a look at the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Now it is the turn of the Galaxy S21 Plus.

A series of renderings presented via MySmartPrice show off reportedly CAD drawings of the new phone, which matches early rumors about Samsung's future lineup. The drawings themselves are early renderings, so there are no details to tell much here, but we can get a sense of what may be coming from Samsung early next year.

The "blade bezels" previously teased in a patent via LetsGoDigital can easily be seen in the renderings alone. These represent the extremely thin, flat edges of the phone's display. There is also a camera array in the upper left corner of the back of the device. This blends into the actual cell phone itself, making for a very striking image. It also matches an earlier rendered image by digital artist Snoreyn that appeared earlier.

The rendered image depicts a phone with a 6.7-inch display, the same as the Galaxy S20's OLED panel. However, the S21 will be slightly shorter, wider, and thicker than the current model, according to the report. The bezel should be ultra-thin, and the edges are not likely to be as curved as before; expect a flat display like the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.

Other specs expected for the Galaxy S21 Plus include a Snapdragon 875 system on chip with a 4,600 mAh battery. In a report on the leaked renderings, PhoneArena claims that the Galaxy S21 Plus will offer up to 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

There is still no specific release date for the phone yet, with some people expecting the Galaxy S21 to arrive earlier than usual, as Samsung looks to take advantage of the iPhone 12's late debut. The lineup could arrive as early as January. Expect more leaks about all Galaxy S21 models toward the end of the year.
