Right now, Best Buy is offering the Lenovo Chromebook Duet (128GB) for $269. This is the lowest price we have seen so far on this slate and one of the best early Black Friday deals you can get. Don't need massive storage? Walmart has the Chromebook Duet (64GB) for $203.88.

Unlike most laptops in this price range, the Lenovo Chromebook Duet packs a respectable spec sheet that helps it stand out from the bargain bin crowd: 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 LCD, 2GHz MediaTek Helio P 60T CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of eMMC. Most laptops in this price range offer a lower-resolution screen and half the storage capacity of the Duet. This is one of the reasons this machine made our list of best Chromebooks.

In our review of the Lenovo Chromebook Duet, we liked the machine's crisp image quality and solid color reproduction. Performance-wise, the 2GHz MediaTek CPU is fast enough for light multitasking; I didn't suffer from lag while streaming 1080p YouTube videos and having a few Chrome tabs open. It's no multitasking monster, but for the price, it's adequate.

Battery life is about 12 hours 47 minutes, which is better than the iPad (10:07) and Surface Go 2 (11:38). The included keyboard is a bit cramped on the sides, but it is nice to have a keyboard included right out of the box.
