iPhone12Pro low light video will blow you away

The iPhone 11 Pro delivers great video recording, but the iPhone 12 Pro surpasses it. In our review, we were very impressed with the video capabilities of the 12 Pro, but it appears that there is more to come from Apple's latest smartphone.

On Apple's YouTube channel, the Cupertino company posted a video called "Experiments V: Dark Universe." iPhone 12 series is the first smartphone capable of shooting Dolby Vision HDR video.

The short video showcases a series of stylish shots ranging from swirling graphite particles in a dark scene to the sun breaking through the clouds and heralding the dawn of night. While these shots look very impressive and artistic, the idea here is to show off how well the iPhone 12 Pro's low-light mode performs when shooting video.

"We wanted to push the iPhone 12 Pro to its limits with Dolby Vision and low-light recording capabilities," Apple said.

While these features are great, it takes a professional level of videography knowledge to get shots like this. A behind-the-scenes video shows how the shoot was set up, with the iPhone 12 Pro mostly held in place by an arm rather than relying on unstable human hands.

Nevertheless, it is clear how powerful Apple's low-light photography is and how Dolby Vision can enhance the brightness and color of video. Thus, the iPhone 12 Pro can shoot impressive video even in the hands of an inexperienced person, and in the hands of a professional, it can be used quite well to create visual masterpieces.

And all of this is very promising for the iPhone 12 Pro Max with Apple's new sensor-shift optical image stabilization. This should allow for ultra-stable shooting and more detailed images. We'll have to see how it measures up when we put Apple's largest iPhone 12 to the test, but we're optimistic.
