Earlier this week, CD Projekt Red delayed Cyberpunk 2077 again, pushing it back almost a month to December 10. Apparently, OnePlus either didn't get the memo or decided it was too late to change its plans.

The company has already begun teasing a cyberpunk tie-in edition of the OnePlus 8T, which will appear a month before the game.

The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 edition was first announced at the 8T launch event, promising a "pre-sale" on November 4. Now, OnePlus has confirmed on Weibo that the phone will have its own special launch event on November 2.

We don't know too much about this phone yet, but it is expected to have a custom cyberpunk theme. This will include a unique cyberpunk design with black coloring and yellow highlights. It is also possible that custom software will be provided when the phone is turned on, which should at least include exclusive wallpaper.

Beyond that, it's unclear if there's anything we won't get yet with the OnePlus 8T; the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition came with upgraded fast charging that we didn't get with the standard 6T, so the possibility is always there. Frankly, we'd love to see wireless charging make a comeback. There wasn't much reason for OnePlus to remove wireless charging from the 8T in the first place.

Of course, there is a strong possibility that there is nothing special, and we won't know for sure until OnePlus actually tells us. Thankfully, there are only a few more days until November 2.
