However, 2020 will be the first year that retailers will offer Black Friday-worthy prices ahead of the week of Thanksgiving. While this is great for bargain hunters and early shoppers, it could lead to buyer's remorse when they see what they buy now being sold at a discount a few days later.

So here are six items we think you should buy now ahead of Black Friday. These are devices that will not be on sale on Black Friday or are not expected to be significantly cheaper.

Why you should buy now: simply put, TVs never get cheaper than $88. If they did, they would sell out in the blink of an eye.

Since the pandemic began, finding training equipment online has been next to impossible. From dumbbells to yoga mats, gym goers are buying the best home gym equipment the moment it hits store shelves. As a result, it is unlikely that home gym equipment will be cheap on Black Friday. On the contrary, with COVID-19 infections on the rise, they may become harder to find. Furthermore, new closure measures in some states may force gyms to close again. Therefore, gym equipment found online now may be gone before you know it.

Why you should buy now: Finding exercise equipment is a workout in itself. If you see an item on your shopping list, buy it. Chances are, other people want it too, and if you wait for Black Friday, you risk it being out of stock.

The future of console gaming has arrived: the Xbox Series X will be released on November 10 and the PS5 on November 12. However, finding stock of either console will be next to impossible. The chances of finding a Black Friday PS5 bargain or a Black Friday Xbox Series X bargain are slim to none, so pre-order now (if you can find one) or try your luck on launch day. Because the chances of finding PS5 or Xbox Series X deals on Black Friday are slim to none. That said, there are always retailers who like to buck the trend and offer great bundle deals on any of the new consoles. But rest assured, your chances of getting it are slim as everyone on the planet is gunning for that bundle deal. As for the Nintendo Switch, finding inventory has been easier. However, it is still unlikely that retailers will significantly reduce the price of the Switch. Switch accessories and games, on the other hand, will likely go on sale.

Why you should buy now: previous Black Fridays have shown that new consoles sell out rapidly during the holiday period. Therefore, don't wait for Black Friday to find a bargain. No other Apple product is as undervalued as the AirPods. Since their launch, AirPods sales have been easy to find and inventory has never been a major issue. Currently, AirPods Black Friday deals are at an all-time low, with Amazon offering AirPods for $99 ($60 off) and AirPods Pro for $194 ($55 off). These are the best deals in Apple's history, and since they are already at rock-bottom prices, it makes no sense to wait for them to get cheaper.

Why you should buy now: the AirPods and AirPods Pro are amazing deals at $99 and $194, respectively. If the price drops, it won't be by much, if at all.

The second wave of COVID-19 has unfortunately arrived, meaning that the demand for face masks will rise again. As a result, it would be a good idea to buy face masks now and have them shipped ASAP. While we expect face masks to be a bargain on Black Friday, if you wait until November 27 to stock up on masks, you run the risk of shipping delays and face mask stock shortages. Now that they are in stock, such risks can be avoided.

Why you should buy now: All retailers are manufacturing face masks these days, but now that we are in the second wave of the coronavirus, some retailers may run out of stock. Amazon has the Echo Dot on sale for $18.99. This price has been this price since Prime Day. It could get cheaper on Black Friday, but probably not dramatically cheaper. In fact, unless you are holding off on buying a new Amazon device (like the Echo Dot 4th generation), I would recommend buying an Alexa-powered device now. Amazon currently has numerous smart devices on sale starting at $9. Some of them are running low on inventory, which could be in mid-December due to shipping delays come Thanksgiving Day.

Why you should buy now: practically all smart speakers are on sale right now. (except for newer devices). Unless you specifically want a current generation device, there is no reason to wait a few days for a lower price.
