The Best Black Friday AT&T Deals 2020: Get iPhone12mini for Free

AT&T has launched a Black Friday promotion. Now you can save up to $700 on the iPhone 12 mini and get Apple's newest and smallest smartphone for free.

Of course, this is a carrier smartphone deal, so to get the iPhone 12 mini for free or save $700 on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, you have to pass a few caveats (iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro (the same rules apply to the $700 off the Pro).

First of all, you must trade in your iPhone 8 or later or Galaxy S9 or later (there are many other trade-in phone options) and the phone must be in working order.

The deal gets you a $700 billing credit (to be distributed over 30 months), but AT&T doesn't take too kindly to it with the following asterisks. First, the full retail price of the phone will be paid up front. Second, AT&T will also have to upgrade existing phone lines or add new service lines and activate postpaid unlimited plans.

Fans of the original iPhone SE have been clamoring for a smaller iPhone for years, and our iPhone 12 mini review shows how Apple finally answered their request, and how it earned its place on our best phones list and how it earned its place on our best phones list. It has the same durable Ceramic Shield display glass as the other iPhone 12s and Apple's new MagSafe accessory for Qi charging and more. It also has the same dual cameras as the more expensive iPhone 12. And the A14 Bionic CPU cuts through the competition as the fastest processor in any phone.

And our iPhone 12 Pro Max review shows why bigger can be better: it lasted 10 hours and 53 minutes on 5G, beating the iPhone 12 mini's 7 minutes and 28 seconds. But this is no great shock. And the Pro Max's three rear cameras give it an edge over all the other phones out there, with Smart HDR 3 for truly accurate and vivid color capture.

Our review of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE revealed some truly outstanding features of Samsung's $700 phone, including a display peak brightness of 679 nits and a 30x space zoom.
