Black Friday iPad deals just got even better with a new all-time low price for Apple's smallest iPad, the iPad mini 5. Released in 2019, this iPad mini 5 is the first 10.2-inch iPad to feature the A12 Bionic processor, and it's a sneakily fast slate.

While supplies last, Amazon is selling the iPad mini 5 for $334. This is $64 off the regular price of $399 and is the lowest price to date for this iPad.

Apple only claims "up to 10 hours" of battery life for the iPad mini 5, but according to our battery tests, that is an understatement; in Tom's Guide battery tests, the iPad mini 5 lasted 12 hours and 40 minutes (150 nits of brightness and surfing the web). This is phenomenal durability and means it doesn't need to be recharged often.

The iPad mini also supports the Apple Pencil stylus, unleashing one of iPadOS 14's biggest tricks: Apple's new Scribble feature converts what you write in a text field into actual text.

And the iPad mini can even compete with the new iPad 2020: not only does it have the same A12 Bionic chip as the iPad 2020, but it also weighs nearly half a pound less at 0.66 pounds.
