Black Friday is here, but it wouldn't be Black Friday without a sale on Apple AirPods.

Right now Amazon has the Apple AirPods on sale for $109. That's a savings of $49, which is not surprising; Walmart has the same $109 AirPods on sale.

In our review of the Apple AirPods, we praised the headphones as faster, smarter, and longer lasting than previous models. The company has taken hands-free to a new level thanks to wireless charging and Siri's thoughtful integration. Longer durability and faster pairing times are the icing on the cake.

With Bluetooth 5.0 instead of the previous generation 4.2, the new AirPods offer a more stable connection. Like the older AirPods, Apple claims the second-generation AirPods will last five hours on a single charge. Also, thanks to the H1 chip, the Pods' talk time is (allegedly) 50% longer.

Not only are the second-generation AirPods faster, they are also smarter, at least when it comes to Siri. These are the first Pods to feature hands-free Siri. That's right, instead of tapping a request to Siri on the elongated AirPods stem, simply say "Hey Siri" to activate the digital assistant wherever you are.
