Black Friday PS5 Deals - What to Expect and Best Selling

Update: PS5 Deals for Cyber Monday are now available! Be sure to check it out.

The PS5 is here and so are the Black Friday sales that continue through the weekend. Save on console games and accessories that are in high demand and low supply with these sales, and enjoy playing games until 2021. Don't delay: Black Friday is officially over, but there are still some great sales left to be had. In addition, a number of Cyber Monday deals are also available early!

Since Sony's next-generation system is still less than a month away from launch, we doubt we'll see any discounts on the PS5 itself. At best, there is a chance that a bargain PS5 bundle with games and accessories will be available and discounted across the board. After all, this is the dawn of a new generation. This is the perfect opportunity to sell additional controllers, PlayStation Plus subscriptions, and game software together.

If you're one of the many people still trying to buy a PS5, you may be in luck. The weekend between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is a critical time to try to buy the console, and retailers such as Walmart and GameStop will be offering additional stock as their initial inventory sells out.

Here are some of the best PS5 deals for the weekend and Cyber Monday, as well as the best sales we've found so far.

The PS5 is now available in the US and the UK. Sony's newest gaming console is priced at $499 for the regular model and $399 for the discless PS5 Digital Edition. Neither model will be available on Black Friday. As it stands, it is difficult to even find a PS5 in stock.

Best Buy is selling the PS5 online in "limited quantities" on Black Friday (November 27), so you may want to bookmark Best Buy's PS5 page. Walmart is selling the PS5 as part of its Black Friday sales program, which began on November 25. The first batch is out of stock, but the page promises that there will be more to come.

GameStop is also selling the PS5 on Black Friday, but you'll have to go directly to the store (stores open at 7 a.m. local time on November 27). Also, check out our PS5 Where to Buy Guide for the latest information on PS5 availability.

We wouldn't be surprised if certain retailers offer their own custom PS5 bundles with a number of games and accessories; GameStop has already done this, offering an additional controller, copies of "Spider-Man: Miles Morales" and "Demon's Souls," and a $769 bundle that gets a year of PlayStation Plus. (This deal seems to have disappeared along with most of the PS5 inventory.) Given this, it is very possible that a similar bundle will be resurrected during the busy shopping season.

It is also worth noting that the PS5 will work with nearly all PS4 games and accessories, many of which will be heavily discounted for the Black Friday season: Madden NFL 21, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and other new titles are already on sale for $10 to $30 off, and many of these games include a free upgrade to the PS5 version. With these deals, you may also be able to upgrade to a 4K TV and enjoy the games you play on your PS5 in beautiful conditions.

PS5-specific accessories will likely not be discounted on Black Friday, but there are plenty of discounted PS4 accessories that can be used with the PS5.
