Support for PS5 and Xbox Series X Controllers Added to Nvidia Shield TV

Nvidia has announced an update for its Shield TV and Shield TV Pro streaming boxes that enables the use of the new PS5 and Xbox Series X controllers.The PS5 and Xbox Series X controllers are significantly improved over the previous generation This is good news for Shield TV owners, as they are greatly improved compared to the previous generation.

Pairing the next-generation controllers is the same as with PS4 and Xbox One peripherals. First, go to the Bluetooth section of the Shield TV's settings; for PS5, hold down the PS and Share buttons simultaneously until the light turns blue; for Xbox, hold down the pairing button until the Xbox logo begins to flash. The option to pair the controller will appear on the TV screen.

The new update also includes support for the Control4 home automation system.

The Nvidia Shield TV and TV Pro are still among the best streaming boxes available, and Nvidia continues to support the devices with constant updates and improvements, as well as new and improved 4K upscaling capabilities with AI that no other box been made.
