PS5 and Xbox Series X Replenishment Happening Today - How to Get You

3:15 p.m. ET update: GameStop is sold out, but Walmart has stock.

Still looking for a PS5 or Xbox Series X? GameStop has a number of bundles available today.

The retailer announced today (Thursday, January 21) that it will offer "limited quantities of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S," bundles. If you're looking for a dockable console, they should also have the Nintendo Switch bundle in stock. As of 3:15 PM ET, the bundle is sold out. If you don't see it, try using your browser's incognito window.

As always, however, expect these units to sell out; it's bad enough that GameStop's tweet refers to this shipment as "limited in number," but they advise turning on notifications on their social media accounts for that reason.

This suggestion by GameStop is both smart shopping and smart marketing. Shoppers can learn about inventory availability more quickly, which gives users the option of having GameStop send them push notifications about what they want.

A recent tweet from GameStop suggests that by opting in to its notifications, users will receive notifications about live streams of games, promotions about games on sale, and videos from people who have successfully purchased consoles at the retailer.

And while we may not want such spam to appear on our home screen, we may not have a choice as it is. Besides, it's not as if other accounts might not be more useful; even a Twitter account dedicated to PS5 inventory notifications might send you alerts for inventory that doesn't apply to you, such as other countries or membership retailers like Sam's Club.

1. make sure you are following GameStop and tap the notification bell.

2. Tap all tweets.

That's it, once you have received one notification from GameStop, go back and tap the "Notifications" icon and select "None" to disable the alert.
