PS5 and Xbox Series X owners will see a major upgrade to Ubisoft's The Division 2: On February 2, Ubisoft will be bringing 4K visuals and 60fps gameplay to next-gen consoles.

The news comes from Johan Lindholm, community developer for Division. In response to a tweet from a fan, Lindholm confirmed the update.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X are architecturally very similar to the previous generation consoles, so many games are being treated like next-gen consoles. This includes obvious cross-gen games like "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" and "DIRT 5" to surprise games like "For Honor," "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" and "Nioh 2"
